  35. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some information
  36. detailing the different price/performance options available for an amateur
  37. radio setup capable of communicating with the internet via packet
  38. radio.  I'm trying to get a feel for the amount of equipment
  39. required to get started, to see if this is something I could afford
  40. to do as a hobby.  I have a fast computer, and I need a radio, TNC,
  41. antenna, special modem (?).  I am also unclear on how one becomes
  42. connected to the net.  Are there any other options I should consider
  43. for wireless internet service before choosing Amateur Radio Packet?

  59. I just installed the UNIX variant Coherent on my PC, and was wondering if 
  60. anyone out there has been able to use it for packet?  I run JNOS in the 
  61. DOS world, and enjoy being able to use TCP/IP.  It would be way cool to 
  62. be able to do this from Coherent.  I know that there are AX.25 drivers 
  63. available for Linux.  Are they usable with Coherent?  Is there a version 
  64. of JNOS available for Coherent?  Basically, my question is that I have 
  65. Coherent installed, so how can I integrate Packet Radio with it?

  82. Hello All. Thanks for reading this mail. I am wondering if anyone can
  83. kindly give me info on following questions!
  84. 1) Can I use KAMPlus 7.0 under UNIX operating system?
  85. 2) Is there any terminal software which can talk to KAMPlus?
  86. 3) How do I connect and initialise the TNC under UNIX just to talk to
  87. it?
  88. 4) Is there any known public or shareware or even commercial software
  89. which will control the KAMPlus under UNIX operating system?
  90. NB: The UNIX runs on Apple Macs and NCSA.

  101. Can anyone point me towards the WORDOUT command in Pakratt 5.5?

  103. I want to be able to delete letters after they have been sent,
  104. but I cannot find anywhere in Pakratt the PK232 WORDOUT
  105. command, which enables this to happen.

  107. Have AEA just forgotten to put it in?  Have I missed it somewhere?
  108. Is there a way round the problem?
